I Am King Wall

Had a blackbook back in my graffiti days, like every writer. A local hiphop shop that sold spraypaint had a few of the guys hanging around sketch in it. One drawing: a kid saying 'But mommy, I am King.' Whoever drew it had no idea my tag was The King. Years later, decorating Kingkool Hostel, I found that sketch again. Kingkool, I am King. We ended up running that line in our own marketing without planning it that way. Recreated it on a plastered metal-stud wall, the flowers on the kid's mom's dress done in Kingkool green lacquer. When we gutted that floor for the rebuild, we cut the piece straight out of the wall instead of losing it. Coated it in epoxy resin, hung it in the new lounge. Gave it another layer it didn't have before.
