Surfboards

Before design and art, there were boards. Studio FUNC started as a surfboard shaping company in my twenties — foam, resin, fins, whatever the shape called for. Eight of them here: a McGee-inspired egg (McFunc), an oldschool swallowtail twin, a CI-style shortboard, a couple of cruisers, a custom board built for Jules, a five-fin fish named for the tastiest catch in the North Sea, and one collaboration — JY x FUNC, shaped by JY Surfboards, designed under our name.
